Our sex life was always good — our intimacy, fun and spontaneous. But busy lives and lots of competing responsibilities do get in the way.

It's hard to shift from one role to another, from parent to playmate. We tried different things to keep the passion burning. One favorite that didn’t take a lot of prep time was at “bedtime” we would ask one another to tell a story – a sexy story. And we would. We would make up sexy, steamy stories to share.

You know what? These stories really got us going.

Since we enjoyed “storytime” so much, we decided to try books of erotic stories. We would choose a story and then read it aloud.

This worked great, except that sometimes the stories were just too long or too invovled. We wanted something quick and sexy to help us along.

Also, while we enjoyed the stories – we soon discovered a significant drawback. One of us was talking — not kissing. One of us was holding a book —not rubbing a back or anything else.

One night it hit us, if these stories were recorded on a CD, leaving our hands, lips, and everything else free, we could have our stories while focusing on each other. You could say that we could have our cake and eat it, too.

Sounds Media was born.
